I've now decided to abandon my nearly complete project. I do body work, I had big plans for the car, but now my situation has changed a little bit, so I need to more comfortable daily driver.

I rebuilt the entire motor on the car. N42 block bored .020 over, ITM flat-top pistons installed, with both sets of bearings of course. Crankshaft was checked with plasti-gauge and lubed before installing the bearings. Motor has an N47 head, which I bought freshly built from a machine shop. The car was originally fuel injected of course, but I converted it to round-top SU's off a 240. Carburetors have been rebuilt, they work beautifully. I will include the original FI system, but it did have a leak, you can convert the car back at your own discretion if you choose to work on it. If you do, a rebuilt set of SU's runs for good money. Has 6-2-1 wrapped headers hooked up to a full exhaust (2-something inches, sounds very nice). Transmission shifts very smooth, last thing left to do on the car is to hook up the tachometer and speedometer, and replace the master cylinder.

The body is very solid, it has lite rust around the windshield and rear hatch. The doors have a little rust on the outside only, and the floors will need a few patches here and there. Under the hood there's no rust at all, I had actually painted the engine bay before installing the motor.

This car was built by my father, he's been a mechanic for over 30 years, he's known in our circle to be a very meticulous person. The car will need very minor work to be done, any shop should be able to finish the project in about 2 weeks (needs minor work). I have invested in the car about $4k without the labor me and my dad put into it, I'd like to just get back my investment, I'm asking for $4,500. I haven't finished the car because I don't want to have to bump up the price, because it might make the sell take longer. We've done a couple of restorations, if interested, we can discuss doing the body work on the car, or even finishing the project all the way.

I can be reached at (786)267-7066 or Boizart1@yahoo.com I am located in South Florida.

P.S. I tried for 35 minutes to upload a files, 8 different ways, email me for pictures.
