Parting 83 ZX Turbo (Ohio)

It's an 83 turbo, automatic tranny, t-top, 2-seater. I got mint body panels I was going to use for it, but I decided that the frame is too far off to save. So, I'm forced to part it out.
good, for sure parts:
-2 silver fenders
-2 silver doors
-silver hood
-silver hatch, with glass
-all lights
-all glass

Engine has a leak into the combustion chamber, soaking the plugs. The car hasn't been run further than around the block, so I'm not aware of any other mechanical problems. The turbo was boosting when we did have it running just the other day. It also went into every gear just fine.

The actual body is in rough shape. As is the dash. So if you need anything, I'm willing to entertain any offers. email: powerover@gmail if I lose touch with this forum.

I'm located in SE Ohio.

^^what all does "turbo parts" entail? are we just talking the snail and the plumbing?^^

and Nismo619. I'd be glad to send you this harness for $100, if I could get the bitch off. Is there a trick that I'm missing, 'cause I've been fighting with it for a good 3 hours. I still have part of it in the dash, and the everything that goes across by the radiator to the right side of the bay.

Yes there is a trick.. after u un bolt and un screw the main right side RELAY BOX has 6 relays in it follw the the wires down then u will have to open the old plastic black plastic hosueing that holds all the wires togethor u will have to unravel them.. then follow the wires back to the passenger side wall.. now hears the trick .. witch i would mind u will eather a have to cut a square out of the fire wall or, cut the wires to the fuse box.. the wires should go the main fuse box. its sooo much eazier if u unblot the dash and pull out the dash..

Do you by any chance have the shades or bags from the T-Tops? Also could I possibly get the AFM off you? Did this car have the headlight washers? If so could I get the cap from the headlight washer container? Also how is the Z emblem on it? I'm looking to get a hold of a better condition Z hood emblem. Let me know if any of this is available.

The hood emblem isn't in great shape. It does have the headlight sprayers. I don't have the shades or bags for the tops. here's a picture of the AFM , I'm not sure what the duct tape is about.

So I'd have to sell you the AFM as is, unless there's a way for me to test it. Make an offer for it, pay the sipping, and I'll toss that cap in.

well, the harness is out, but not in the best shape. I ended up yanking here and cutting here but that's all on the right side.

And I'm going to need more help with the fuel pump box? I don't even have a haynes for this car, so you'll have to bear with me.

Hey if you're still parting it out. How's the front bumper on it? I'm trying to replace my front bumper. I need the cover, that houses the turn signals and everything and the side bumpers if you've got them. Also how was the front air dam on the car?

That's a nice looking set of parts you got there. If I had the money I'd be all about some of that.

the front-end isn't smashed, but it's hardly in great condition... it'd take some mud and paint to get it looking smooth again. The silver parts can all be had for $150 if you ever feel like driving a pick-up truck down this far south.

-I'm keeping the wheels, they're the "swazi" style ones. A buddy of mine is lookin' into fitting them onto his 1st gen RX-7.

-I don't even know how to go about shipping the hood and fenders.

-I'll get pictures of the driver's side t-top tomorrow.

Sorry I haven't been answering the PM's, but I'm working over 30 hours a week, going to school full time, and watching my sister's kids in between all that. Because I have little time, I don't think I'll be shipping anything that will take more than a socket set, and an hour to remove. If you know people around SE Ohio, there more than welcome to come out and remove and take. At this point, I'm just looking to get this thing out of my driveway... I don't know what had me thinking I would ever had time to get this running, I can't even manage pulling it apart.

Do you still have the throttle body from the car? I'm interested in buying that. That shouldn't take long to remove.
