$8,000.00!?!? Wow! does it have twin turbos? 24K Gold paint? or a supermodel to ride shotgun? Must be a damn nice Z to warrant that kind of money. I know I couldn't ask near that much for my car... and I've already put about 12K into it. I might be able to get 4K out of it if I was really really really lucky.

Ok thats for the advice on the price, thats why I posted it. Any thoughts how much should I ask? its not only that one but 3 others as well. i will post pics on tuesday when I get back to work (they are on that PC)I know how much it means to me but I know I won't get it. I really really don't want to sell, but the family comes first.
PS: the supermodel don't come with it. lol

Yeah, there is a VERY small market for 280ZX's in that price range. It would have to be special with a significant history to claim that kind of money.
If it doesn't have a special history, typically, a fully restored or excellent condition 10th Anniversary or 280ZX-R could pull that off.
As someone with a VERY expensive 280ZX, fortunately, my car also has a significant history that was modified and owned by someone famous (at least in racing circles), but I'll still not get more than half what I have in it and then it'll only be from a VERY small market of potential buyers. Of course, I don't ever plan to sell my car either.
Unfortunately, the parts cars aren't going to add much to sweeten the deal. I got a running '83 280ZX parts car for $300. Without seeing them, even if you get $500 for each of them, it's only going to add $1500 to the whole deal.
Pictures will certainly help with making a more accurate prediction. You may be able to sell the parts cars separately and make a little more money on the deal, but I wouldn't count on them to help your car sell for $8k. If anyone see's that number, unless it's a finished restoration project, they'll just move on to the next car in the classifieds.
