Wow! I'm surprised! I would think you could get $50k for it.

If it were pure stock, it would be worth more. But the polished valve cover and cold air intake lower it's value in my book (that means someone has "tinkered with it").

Oh... and it's a 2+2 (don't feel bad about that... I have one too).

Come on guys he has already knocked off 2 grand to 10k. How much more can you expect him to knock off this prestine artifact of japanese nostalgic history.

Granted man the car seems to be in pretty good shape but if you want to sell it you have to be a little more realistic. Unless you have a wife that wants you to sell something that you really dont want to get rid of. So you tell her you are going to post it up for sale and put a ridiculas price on it there for you get to keep it. But if thats not the case why dont you do some research on your car and see what others are going for and adjust you price accordingly. Good Luck

If I was in the market for a nice 280ZX turbo still I would pay $4000 for that car.
I bought a turbo Z, but 2-seater and manual transmission with 130k miles for 2500. The owner wanted $3500 but nobody would pay the price and hardly anyone even looked at it at that price. 2 seats, turbo, and 5-speed are generally the sought after options and help with the value. You have only one of those three. Granted your car does look to be in great condition too.

Hey... here's a clean rare slicktop 81 turbo for $1500. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=143620

I hate to burst bubbles... but that $1500 deal smashes this $10k one.
