Should be an easy locate. Check around for a rebuilt OEM while you are looking. Note price & warranty for comparison. If nobody on this site has what you need, there are at least a dozen (non-rebuilts) right there in SC. (I checked car-part.com for the hell of it, with your zip.) If the yard is near you, you should drive there and negotiate for the parts you want, especially if the trans is still in the car. Bring a yellow crayon to mark stuff. Better for you than a mystery part-in-a-box deal from a recycler far away. Good to know how many miles are on the stuff you need. But you save some dollars with a 'used' trans and have no real warranty, if that matters a lot to you. I have had good luck with hand-picked trans from recyclers. One had 75K on it, still works fine
You know that '84na to '89na are pretty much interchangeable, right? Check the part numbers for that. Don't forget the 5-spd ECU. http://www.z31.com/wiki/doku.php?id=...s:z31_ecu_list
You should probably get a new clutch for your swap (the one on a 'used' transm -they may let you take it for free since it's attached - could be near dead or bad, why take a chance) Aftermarket clutches are OK. The guys here know their stuff. You will want the 'right' one for you, though. They're not all the same. Ask the guys here for their Z31 clutch preference.
