FS 1986 300zx Turbo 5speed Digital Dash Leather.. 1 owner

You are lookin at a 1 owner 300zx Turbo that has been maintained by the dealer all of its life, it runs like a dream and there are No mechanical, electrical or cosmetic problems, execpt for a scratch on the passanger side fender (it will need to be straightened and painted). The Car is an Arctic White with Tan leather interior, Digital Dash, Premium Stock Stereo, TURBO, and 5-speed. The interior is flawless with a ver supple dash and perfect leather seats and side door trim, the only interior flaw is the tonneau cover for the rear campartment (AKA rear compartment privacy cover) has a year in the back (hidden when hatch is closed), the carpet is in great shape, not burnt like others, but the drivers side does show some use (a little dirty). T-Tops dont leak, car leaks NO fluids, and starts up everytime and idles as it should, the turbo is perfectly healthy as is the motor and transmission, also i reciently changed oil in motor, tranny and differential, new tires, alighnment and balance (within the last 500miles). This car must be seen to believe, it is a rare example of an unmolested sports car of the 80's, and looks as if it just rolled off the showroom floor, i am avialable to show it off whenever, just call or email 480-238-0089.

BTW: you can go to the Craigslist ad for the pictures.....i dont know how to post here on the forum :-(...

Why $8k? The market value is only about $3k-$4k...

well. because of its rarity, i'd like someone else to find a 1 owner dealer maintained car like mine for 4k... but i am open for offers .... looking on traderonline.com there are much more riddiculous asking prices, there is a black 2+2 with same milage for 8999, so i figure 8 for the more desirable Z, why not?

I bought my 240z from the original owner for $500... had 132k miles & in great condition. You're missing one thing... the car is only worth (in dollars) what people are willing to pay. If someone can buy a nice Z31T for $3k, why would they buy yours for a whopping $8k? I think your car looks great, just don't get your hopes up about selling for that much. All the sellers asking a ridiculous price for their car, usually have to wait a long time, or lower their price to a more sane level.

you know nismo..... you do seem very intrested for some reason, gimme a call and we make deal :-). I am not trying to sell quick, i like driving it but if i can sell it and pay off some debt,GREAT, if not i'll enjoy the ride. Actually truth be told, i'd rather sink some cash into my ol 240z (it sits trannyless and carbless, begging for a cruse) and pay off some stuff.

you could get a decent z32TT for just a bit more than 8k, or a cherry z32NA. as for rarity, the z31 is not really a sought after model. if you can sell it for 8k, more power to you. but i think you will find that it wont move till you get it down in the 4k range.

Doh... that sucks. I've learned that when selling cars / high $ items on ebay it's best to use the "pre-approved" bidding option so you have control over who is bidding. If you are dead set on $6500... it's prolly going to take you a while to sell it. Have you listed it in your local AutoTrader?
