91 300zx TT FS in Jacksonville NC -6500
I bought the car back in February of this year planning on using it as a track car but it's a little to nice to chance screwing it up. I was asking 8000 but I found an M3 I want so I've lowered the price unless it sells before I get rid of the Z.
1991 original 300zx Twin Turbo with 124000 miles. 5 speed in pearl white with a black leather interior. Exterior and interior are in excellent shape. Everything works; power windows, door locks, HICAS all wheel steering, alarm, and even the ride control selector. As far as the exterior of the car there are a few blemishes but nothing that really stands out. Has a few rock chips on the front bumper as well as some spiderline cracks (but you have to really look to see them). The rear spoiler has a bubble under the driver side but again you really have to be looking to find it. All weather stripping is almost perfect and there are no leaks from the t-tops or rear hatch. Front tires are almost new but the rears are probably about 10% and need to be changed soon. Wheels are polished and look almost chrome. The leather seats have no tears; only minimal wear on the driver's side bolster. The only real flaws are bubbling on the two pillar posts under the leather. Has a nice sound system with a pioneer head unit that has hookups for ipod or other external MP3. Also has custom enclosures for a 10 inch subwoofer and alpine amplifer that both match the black carpeting. Most, if not everything, that came with the car originally is there. T-top covers, T-top shades, spare tire and air pump are all in the car. Car runs flawlessly. Turbos spool at around 3000 rpms and maintain power through redline. No smoke on startup or otherwise and it hasn't leaked or used any oil since I've had it. Timming belt was changed at 110k by Z1 motorsports. They also did the expensive A/C clutch change at that time. It has a Wolf Tech intake that was recently cleaned and oiled with a K&N kit. The clutch was replaced with a Cyclone kevlar clutch disc which I understand are pretty bullitproof. (I believe it was changed at around 70k. The clutch does make some chatter on startup but I understand this is due to the nature of a kevlar disc; it doesn't slip at all). The clutch slave cylinder was also replaced in the last couple of months. I also installed a Turbo XS boost regulator and have the boost set at 11psi. I also disconnected the factory turbo guage (useless as they are known to be inaccurate) and have an Autometer pillar post guage. I can easily reconnect the factory guage if it's a concern. Everything else to my knowlede is factory (aside from some suspension parts that were replaced with factory parts and the removal of some of the factory vacuum lines to connect the boost controller). I am not the first owner but there is a box full of receipts for work that's been done to the car as well as other history from the time it was originally purchased. I'm not looking for any trades other than a pretty specific BMW M3 or M coupe that would have to be a non convertible, 5 speed, and in great cosmetic shape.
I have a lot more pics that I can e-mail if interested.
