240sx
Today i found out about a car. This guy has been trying to get ahold of me about it for some time now. it is a 87-91 240SX. It's blue. and sunroof. I have only seen it by driving by. I am going tomarrow to give it a good look up and down. He say's all it needs is a fuel pump. So i am takin a Battery, Gas, and tools with me. I am gona try to just add a lil gas to the intake and see if she will spudder. It has a good body. and supposed to have a very good inter. I don't know if it is a auto or 5 speed yet. But he say's it has a SunRoof. and all he is asking is 60$ for the whole car he just wants it out of his drive way. has will even deliver it. He just wants it to go to a Nissan persion. and he has been seeing me and the three Z's at my house. and wants to give me first dibs on it. Even if the motor is no good. Hell i can make back the 60$ plus+++ by parting it out. He don't care what happends. He just wants a Nissan guy to git it. And. If the motor is good. I might know a S30 that could benifit from it. But i won't rip it up if the body and inter are good.

Fubar, those are fun cars to drive. Just a pain when they start breaking down. That rotary motor, is a trip in itself. Still a great buy man, I would get it if it were close to me. Go for it bro'.
Also they are quite roomy, and feel like you are sitting in a cockpit. I drove a '85 RX7, and it was friggin' fast. It had a 5 speed, and was just tuned up. Took my breath away.

rotary engines will blow their apex seal if they are gingerly driven after about 60k. they arent the easiest motors to work on but they are small so you can get around them and remove them pretty easily. also, rotoaries make about 193 bhp per every liter of displacement they have.

we used 13b rotaries in the pro mazda series cars we built in 1984----those cars could go a full season without any refresh or rebuild. they will go 300k miles if driven with respect for a motor that enjoys stretching its legs.....
