I'm gonna be staying with family in Uvalde for a few days to get outta Corpus Christi away from the hurricane(stupid costal town not the best place to be right now). Just curious if there's anyone from the san antonio area on here. I is leaving sometime later today. Hope my home is still here when i get back (yea, retarded me moved into an apt one block off the beach ).

they are moving the elderly and whatnot out at the moment, it's voluntary here. Though i'm sure the spectacular weather today might make some wanna stay (especially the early snowbirds i've been seeing around here, i kinda feel really bad for them right now)

 

its only an apartment. Do you have renter's insurance?

no renter's insurance (hehe, i don't own enough to warrent it). beach lookin really pretty right now....i gonna get picks tomorrow before hunkering down for the weather, Ike is swinging north so i'm pretty sure it isn't gonna get too bad over here (there have been a few other hurricanes that took the same route...and we hardly felt a thing down here.) This outta be fun...food, water, radio, alchohol....great party :P
