water in the Air Flow Meter: not a good idea

EDIT... I actually like to stick a water hose into my air filter & let it rip.... skeet skeet skeet like a water hose!

 

my radiator kinda 'blew' up at the top seal.... again last night but I didn't find out until my drive to work this morning.

Engine got hot but not to the top of the gauge. At lunch time once the engine was cool, I dumped an entire gallon of water in the radiator. AFM had some water inside since the fan flung it everywhere. After drying it out the car ran fine. I think I might just go buy an aluminum radiator instead of fixing this old one again. more of my paint job fund going to repair work

 

EH... paint is over-rated anyway.

hey bleach, i guess you better start cleaning that pearly white engine of yours now that its stained with antifreeze!!

 

in addition, large quantities of water in the combustion chambers also has an adverse affect on engine efficiency.

 

do not substitute beer for power steering fluid when your drunk.

 

Even better, do not substitute power steering fluid for beer.

 

just put two eggs and some pepper in the rad, and maybe some powdered eggs and alumaseal too. the sludge will be so thick it cant leak! you can clean it out with beer later

 

touche. haha, if you make that mistake though, you probably deserve to go out. radiator fluid on the other hand.... so sweet, babies and animals love it. which is why antifreeze should be safley stored out of harms way.

 

paint and underdrawers=grossly overrated.

Yeah paint is way over rated, take mine for example. I wish they sold fingernail polish by the gallon. That would be interesting to do a whole car in.

 

Or a latex based house paint. Just brush it on or roll it. Yes, that would be nice.

 

spray the whole car with caliper paint.

 

screw paint. Just take it down to the bare metal and wipe it down with some WD-40. Remember to re-apply frequently though. The extra work is well worth the precious ounces you will save.

Do try to keep it out of the rain though

 

no paint = less weight!

 

chrome the body. that would be so cool right?

 

other then the potential blinding hazard and the ubsurd weight of chrome compared to paint...yeah, I guess it would be kind of cool

 

American hot rod had a car a while back that they left polished....looked awesome!

 

polish it, dont chrome it, Or even better just give it the brushed look. like a delorian

 

and then get a flux capacitor, and find a source of 1.21 gigawatts...... great scott!!!

 

hahaha, that great. You know come to think of it, who needs body panels at all. Drive the frame around, even less weight.
