one of your brake cylinders in the rear drums is probably leaking fluid to the inside of the drum.
That's funny that this was posted on a Nissan 350Z forum.

Smile Dude! - your burning the brake fluid!

Mostlikely, your vaccum brake booster diaphragm is bad, and when the engine is running, and when using the brake, the vaccum of the motor is sucking the brake fluid out of the master cylinder, through the brake booster and into the engine, thus burning the brake fluid. Check the vaccum hose between the intake manifold and the brake booster. I suspect you will find traces of brake fluid. This happen on my brothers 55 Chev.

from his description, I thought he was saying that the motorhome was setting for a year and during that time he filled the brake fluid reservoir a few times. If so, the engine is not being used.

Maybe you should put a 350Z engine in your motorhome and four wheel disc brakes.

Smile It must be going somewhere?

Maybe the fluid is just leaking into the power brake unit? If he fills it up a couple more times, it should be full? Or it could be leaking back into the cab, down the firewall, and into the floor mat and carpeting?

Move it where? I'm not moving a motorhome question to the 280ZX forum. hehe... maybe the Z32 forum?

Good idea on the brake booster. If the booster fills up, won't the engine start sucking fluid into the intake manifold and burning up the fluid? ...not if you don't run the engine.

ok, true. I actually can't move it from this forum. But I could start a Motorhome thread in the Z32 forum.

At least something is being posted in the 350Z forum, right?

true, at least this space is being used.

Feel free to start whatever you'd like in the Z32 forum. But be aware that I have the ability to transfer, edit or just plain delete whatever goes there.
