Well I've been on just looking around checking on the forum every once in a while. 91, your Z looks awesome and it's definitely come along. Anyway, I'm getting another TT. I haven't found the right one yet, but I'm looking. I'm looking at one right now and my buddy Charles Park (Powertrix owner) is going to go look at the car for me since it's in LA and see if it checks out enough and is worth it. It looks clean. On the second note, this should make you guys laugh. So I finished the head gasket job on the supra and went to start it. Well it started fine, except for the puddle of oil it left on the floor. I shut it off within 10 sec so it didn't do any damage. Anyway, I went to tear it apart again on the turbo side of the motor. I had pulled the intake, intercooler pipes, turbo, exhaust manifold, all that stuff before I was able to see it. I forgot to hook up the oil return line coming off the turbo!!!!! I felt like an idiot! What's some stories that you guys have that you felt stupid while working on cars? Make me feel a little better about myself!

Yea, I did feel stupid. But then again, I got sick over the winter break that I was doing the HG job and was rushing to try to get it all together before I had to leave for school again. I was checking EVERYTHING again and I think I probably left other stuff off. That's why you can't ever be in a rush, you'll have to do it again if you are. Oh well, reminds me how great Z's are again. I love when I go back to my 240z too after working on my smog infested supra. But yes, I do feel retarded at times. And I support Bush (so shoot me).

I believe that the President of the USA should be able to display intellect that far exceeds that of the ordinary man.

With that statement, everyone here should be able to figure out how I feel about the man in charge presently.

He is but only a mortal man...

Besides, we don't have a perfect system of gov't, anyone w/ connections can get where they want with enough time, even the lesser qualified man. I think instead of just having two candidates to vote on during election time, we should have like 10 that the country votes on, and then the top 3 are voted on, 1st- President 2nd- Vice President 3rd- Loser. I think with a broader variety we would get better topics to talk about, and a bigger choice then just A or B. Its like "which one? Pepsi or Coke...well I want Sprite...and maybe some Dr. Pepper."....I'll lay off the crack now.

you're talking about a basically a proportional representation electoral system. Other countries do that. We do have over 10 people to vote for though. The voters(us) have formed this country into a 2-party system, but we do actually have multiple parties. For example, there is always a cadidate for the independant party, the green party, etc. etc. In a way, our electoral system does narrow it down like you were saying. Representatives from each party elects a nominee to represent their party. Also, intellect portrayed in speaking is different than intellect in leading. You can never tell someones true intellect by listening to them speak b/c htey could be just repeating what others say (advisors), but you can tell by the way they act in situations. For instance, Clinton proved himself to be a moron and lost America's respect. Some say it wasn't fair for him to get a bad rep, etc etc, but the fact of the matter is that he lost the respect of the American majority, which left him unable to effectively lead this country.

Agreed, Its a shame that the 2 parties in this country have such an advantage on the elections due to their financial sitiuations, and their ability to use the media and express issues a lot more then these independent parties. I know there are basic elections to narrow down the candidates, but for the last 150 years its ALWAYS been 1 Republican, and 1 Democrat debating that the people vote on. I think the system we use is pretty one way to let the 2 common parties almost always be the two primary decisions to choose between, I just feel that we should have some broader general election w/ maybe 3 or 4 candidates, instead of just the two regular A and B. I suppose that could generate a lot of problems w/ people believing who should have won and who is right over the other person, etc. Oh well, I'm a street racer and not a politician, what can I do?

Born a Republican, will always vote Republican. And Clinton was an absolute POS, in the whole time he was in office. I asked what preident? And every time he would be on TV, I would change the channel. We had no President from '92 to '00 period! Just a friggin' playboy, that needs to grow up. And make himself useful, which he never did. Except make this country a total friggin' joke! P#ss on him, and the horse he rode in on!
