A lot of Supra's use that BOV. The only changable factor is the spring rate (stiffness). Usually you can adjust them.

I use the HKS SSQV on my 280ZXT. It's loud, more like a chirping sound. It's real head turner that's for sure. You can adjust the sound vy changing the fins. I think they have silver, purple (low freq)and gold (high freq). I have the gold. You can adjust the spring rate, but I haven't messed around with that too much. I forgot what it really does.

do those fin inserts really make big a difference between the regular sound SSQV and putting the gold (highFREQ) fin in????

yup! I guess it's in the design of how the fins are cut. Each fin is cut different. The gold has sharper edges and the purple is more rounded.

All i know is I installed these on a 95TT and they're really really loud.
Of course, there being two BOV's kina help the with the loudness factor.

Just curious, Riz, with two BOVs do they go off at the same time? Yeah, I bet they were loud.

yes they would open at the same time...because of the vacuum lines connected to the intake manifold and to the bov...would basically pull and open both(bov's) when you let off the throttle..works the same as having one bov...now just one more ...and alot LOUDER
