Well, I've got a little dilema on my hand. My girlfriend Christina has this ex-boyfriend named Derek. Derek cheated on Christina when they were going out, and there has been bad vibes ever since that. When everyone found out what Derek had did, people were mad, including me and my friends, and wanted to do something about it. I didn't do anything about it, but apparently someone did something to his car, and he believes it to be me. I was at the grocery store just last week, and I saw Derek and four of his friends, and they start shooting me dirty looks, and begin to follow me around the store. I'm a smaller guy, I'm only 5'4", 130 lbs., and I hate fighting, I've never been in a fight, so I'm not sure if I could protect myself. I decided to walk away from them and act like nothing was the matter. I was on the phone with Christina at the time, and she had to go, so I called another friend to occupy my mind while they followed me around the store. I walked from one side of the store to the other, and they split up, and acted like they were just shopping, but when the same four people show up on the same aisles as you, and aren't buying anything, but watching you like a hawk, you know something is wrong. I kept walking, got my goods, bought my food, and while I was standing in line, the four of them walked past me and out the door, and looked back at me on the way out. At this time, I'm worried about getting jumped by four people outside, but I didn't show it, I just walked outside, with a bag of cans in one hand in case I needed to swing it to protect myself. When I got outside, they had parked their car behind mine (across an aisle, but behind my truck) and were outside staring at me, smoking cigarettes. They watched me get in the truck, start it up, and pull out. I pulled out next to them, like there was no big deal, playing it cool, and drove home calmly.

I talked to Christina later that night, and she said that she knew one of the guys that hung out with Derek that night, and said she'd talk to him about the situation. She called me today to tell me that the guy said that Derek thinks I did something to his car, and to watch my back, because they were going to do "something", but wouldn't say what something was.

So, what do I do? I'm carrying around a weapon in my truck now in case I get chased somewhere and jumped. My friends are on standby, just in case I need some help. I'm not going to jump into anything, I'll only retaliate if something happens.

My father suggested I talk to Derek and tell him I didn't do it, but I think that at this point it will just make things worse. What should I do?

 

How old are you, and what are the ages of the people in this party? Are we talking over 18 or not?

You should talk to him and tell him you didn't do anything. If you have the guts to stand up to him and say it, there may be a chance he believes you. On the other hand it also sounds like that guy just looks for trouble in his life. He has no respect for other people, especially women. Too bad he can't be accidently run over by a truck

nah dude, call him and tell him it wasnt you. Its his choice to belive you or not, esp if they are going to do things to your car.

I just started dating this new chick and alot of her friends hate me for really no reason at all and some of them were asking me about what kind of car i have ect and im afraid someone is going to do something to it now, which will be a big misteak on their part because my car is like my child.

 

dude, I feel you there. My car is my child, it's my pride and joy, it's the one woman I know won't cheat on me, lol. I'm more worried about my car than myself.

 

Honestly, I don't think calling him will solve anything. People like that are already dead set on blaming someone, and that happens to be you. Unless you present something like an official timestamped photo or verified whereabouts of where you were at the time, there's no way he's gonna believe you. If he's a car guy, I suppose you could try appealing to that, like, "Look, I'm a car guy too and I know how much work one puts into it, and that's why I'd never attack a man through his car. If I got beef with someone, I'll say it to their face, not their car." Something you could also do, is try getting a recording of him threatening you. So that if anything ever happens to you or your property, then you've got him by the *****.

 

well, he hasn't threatened me directly, but has made claims to other people, such as Christina's friend Brandon, who is friends with him too. I don't know what is going to happen, but I did hook my alarm back up on my car today, lol.

 

have a good lawyer on hand...sounds like you might be needing his services soon.

I had the same problem for awhile. Pretty much the EXACT same situation, but the guys friend called me up and started bitching to me about it. I seriously had no clue what went on and he believed me. I don't like fighting, but I am more then ready to throw down if needed. Just don't be a bitch, carry a bat in your car/truck. **** happens, sometimes you can't avoid it bro.

as for the camera, I thought about it, but it's a dumb idea, because if someone were to break my windows or something, they would be able to steal the camera out of the car. That's the reason why I put the alarm on, to deter whoever may decide to be stupid.

 

Man that is very true among every Z car enthusiast like ourselves (I think... ). I've been in a few fights just protecting my Z and it's rep. One time five guys with baseball bats were walking up to me and my car who I f-ing hate big time when I was cruising on broadway and stopped to talk to my friends. My friends respect my Z and know how overprotective I am of it. They all know I would go nuckin futs and go phsyco and start ripping off body parts (just an expression) if it was messed with. I happen to have a lot of friends, who don't help out till I've got multi people beatin me up, that look pretty unintimidating, but we're all crazy as ****, and some people know that. As soon as they got closer I called him a (censored) and he threw his bat at me, and I went phsyco and literally beat the **** outta him. His friends started to step foward but mine took a step foward too, which they didn't like and happened to back out. This happens to be only one of many quarrels over my Z. My Z is my baby, my hobby, my Life.

 

...well, Christina told her mom about her chat with Brandon, her mom called brandon's dad, brandon called Christina to apologize for the situation, and now Christina and her mom are going over to Derek's to settle the matter.

This is worse than the time in elementary school when your parents came to the school to take care of a problem.

Tell the little punk that if he messes with your car, he's going to have the whole Z nation after his ***!

Dude, im SO deffensive of my car. If someone says like one thing about doing something to it i will vent for about 2 hours to my friends about what id do to that person if they ever touched my car.

Wow, its funny to see how im not the only person whos like crazy deffensive of my Z...I don't think theres any group of people that get this violent when ppl are threatning their cars.

 

Word man, my Z is worth more to me than gold. And I have put a lot of time, and hard work to have some schmuck mess up my Z.

 

My case is anger management problems. I start bleeding out of my nose when I get really pissed.

 

Christina's mom didn't go and take care of the situation, thank god. Thanks for the support.

the only thing i could think of reading your story is to talk to him. you got nothing to loose. if he has his heart set on doing it anyways, then at least you gave it a try, and you know for sure whats up.
