Jacksons play so nice. The metal guitar of all metal guitars!
How much $ does somthing like that cost?

My next guitar has to have either EMG's or SD's, I'm really sick of playing my crap Ibanez.

Yeah the King V is one of my favorite guitars, I love the sound and the shape and there in lied the problem for me, the shape...90% of the time I sit and play...you will find it is uncomfortable while sitting as it will want to slide to one side off your leg. The sound is worth it though. I played my friends KV1 Dave Mustaine hand signed signature model and it rocked.

Here are some that I have played:

The Peavey V type, one of the smoothest playing and best sounding guitars I have ever played.

The Phil Collin PC1 Jackon...pure bliss!

The Jackson COW sig model The guy from Fear Factory plays this...I want the black one...Active EMG81 pickup...Pure Metal Guitar!!!

My Ibenez RG from when I played in a band back in 1998-1999

The infamous Dave Mustaine KV1 hand signed with Duncan SH4 and TB4 pickups, this is the model he used on the Rust in Peace album. $1,400+ in the mid 90's

This is the cheapest I have found it. I am getting for $549 with free shipping to my door. I could do it in 3 monthly installments. But I just want to wait, and pay for it in full. This is the Cobalt Metallic blue swirl, the black one is $100 cheaper. Of course I love the color blue, and everybody has a black one. So why not be different? He he.

my dream guitar is of my own custom design. 7 string through the body with a batwing head stock like on the older rocket special guitars and a strat style body, humbucker single humbucker pickups (dont know brand yet, probably duncan), and ***** simliar to a gibson with a cutoff switch

I am working on getting a Fender Ultra Chorus Combo amp from a pawn shop. 120 watts through 2 12" speakers. The distortion blew my mind on that amp and the clean side with the chorus was damn near perfect. $200 in near new shape.

ya, I waited until a very rare 50% off sale at Guitar Centers way back in '97 or something. i got my $600 bass for 300 bucks! Works great for my casual playing. I'm not even in a band anymore though. i was back then. I've also got the standard Fender P-Bass that every rock band has. here's a pic of my Epiphone bass.

nice guitars. I'm still acoustic so I just got an epiphone masterbilt...I love it. It outplays most lower end ($800+) martin's and taylors and keeps up nicely with the very high ends like d35's and 8 and 9 series taylors.

Kramer XL5. I have been looking for one for 25 years with no luck. Almost got one on EBAY last month but some ******** had changed the pick ups and drilled holes in the body to mount a tremelo bridge... May as well have drawn a frickin' mustache on the Mona Lisa... Bastard.

I will find one eventually though...
