New guy... sorta...
I'm new to the site, but not to Z's. I've had mine since 2003. Bought her in San Diego right before I got out of the Corps then shipped her to Dallas where all I did was put miles on her. Now I'm in Utah and I keep her in a garage. I finally got a second car so I can baby the Z.
Anyway, Im just wanted to say Hi to e'erbody.

Thank you. I'm still working on getting my Z registered here. It has a crack in the windshield and I doubt she'll pass emissions. Back in TX she has been exempt for a few years. How old does a car have to get to be exemt from emissions here? I've only been in Utah a few months and I have no idea how the classic/antique status works here.

1967 was the cut off for emissions. All cars 81-95 must pass the same emissions test (96+ is OBD II).
This is the PDF of emissions standards / cut points (right click & save as):

1.2% CO
220 ppm HC

Indeed. www.utahzclub.com
Mostly 350z / G35 guys, but there are a few Z31 / 280ZX guys too. They go on cruises / meets all the time, and most live around the south end of Salt Lake, so not too far from you.

Pretty sure my baby won't be on the road until next spring, so I feel your pain, audiofreak. I took on a million hours this semester and haven't had time to do much of anything but study the last few weeks.
