Nismopick will be disappointed....
....there is no longer an SRT-4 owner on the board!
Yep, traded it for a 2007 Ford Ranger cab plus. Finally, got something practical....and won't have punk kids in Hondas harassing me at every stoplight. Its a relief!!

Yeah it was pretty sad when my biggest and most practical vehicle was a Neon! I was tired of borrowing everyone's truck/SUV to haul stuff...
I'll post some pics later in the week...don't have the truck yet, they still gotta do the prep plus install a cruise control.
And please no Found-On-Road-Dead or Fix-Or-Repair-Daily jokes!

Congrats. It sucks when a decent car turns in to something you loath (sp?) cuz you need a vehicle thats more "practical". I mean, dont get me wrong. It was a neon . . .but a nifty lil neon that was decent on the get up and go end of the spectrum. Did you get a 4x4 or pre-runner? My homie just got a 07 Tacoma. Its friggin amazing how the newer trucks have so many "car like" qualities. Rides like a car, all quiet inside on the road and ****, big comfy interior, room for a couple homies. . . .and you can haul a metric ****-ton with'm.

Yeah the SRT was a fun car for the most part but lately its had some overheating issues and the gas mileage has always been abysmal. I just needed more "balance" in the fleet.....I really missed having a truck to occasionally haul stuff with. And you're right, I couldn't believe how quiet this truck was when I test drove it, overall very car like as far as comfort. I thought about getting the 4x4 but ended up getting the 4x2...

That's a damn good lookin' truck. I don't want to be there the first time you put a scratch in the paint on the bed...
I have a '94 Ranger on long term loan and it's had no problems after 80,000 miles either... well, except for that transmission that crapped out at 70,000 miles... DOH!

Thanks lww. Yeah I think my next investment might be a bedliner.
I've had an '01, an '05 (Splash), and a '98 Mazda B2500 (same thing as a Ranger), and had minimal problems with any of them....
