today all i had was flight and the wind was at 20+knts and with runway 2/20 out i think it was mostly a cross wind for 27/9 sooo needless to say that was cancelled. however last night i went out to east dundee and hampshire IL and say 2 Z's of a different breed. the 300ZX TT was the one the kid on here a lil bit ago was talking about... lots of work done. not that much smoke... i think its more of an ECU fuel mapping something electrical withhin the fuel system... and basiclal ythe type of thing i would go crazy about. the second. was this GEORGOUS 260Z on ebay i found. completely rust free underbody, strengthend frame with a good running L26 out of the car... i can get the whole 260 parts to finish (honestly besides it being apart the only prob with the car is a few paint fade spots on teh roof) or i can just give him 2500 and get EVERYTHING (but the corrected drivshaft) to finish his chevy 350 swap. he has teh mounts, headers, motor thats been completly rebuilt, T5 chevy man tranny... and its already got the wires ran and marked off for the 350 swap. all i would have to do is drop it all in. wire it up get the driveshaft length corrected (got a guy for that) and its driving... but i would swap out the rear end for sure and then pain it my self. the car is SICK.... i fell in love. and the guy is awsome.

oh.. and while im at the body work, flare the wheel wells so i can get soem fatty rims on the rear and so ofcoarse i need money for light good wide rims (10 wide rear 8.5 in front im thinking, something like that) and the of course a new front air damn MSA style. and it is the earlier style so the front n rear bumpers sit flusher like the 240Z's

my smog results
HC: max-112 mine-197
CO% max-0.72 mine-.85
NO max 778 mine-1856
timing 20* BTDC
was also using 87 octane gas, so it was detonating like hell..
so it looks like a new set of cat's are going to be installed, as well as i get ti find out why its running rich.

I'm still studying for my ****in' semester finals, cuz my proctor hasn't received the paperwork yet. UGH!
Anyway, Mr. Hoov ... what did you think about Snowie's "Hoovs Your Daddy" title? I love it, and think it's quite catchy! Please let us know if you want it as your new title, and a Title Genie just might change it for you (only admin. can do it - we mods. cannot, but I'll suggest it to admin. if they don't see the request, cuz I feel you deserve a title change by now).

are your o2 sensors and afm in good shape?? sounds like tthey may need replaement--that helped get mine down to verrry reasonable levels.

i do not have a vacuum cleaner anymore--i loved my electrolux, tho'---that was an awesome machine.
i use wet wipes on y "floor"--and wipe down my wood finishes with murphys oil soap. ta-daaaaa----all done.
my electrolux had a life of its own--some of my racing co-workers would sleep over in my living room, having to share space with the vacuum cleaner--and they would remark in the morning about how much fun the vacuum cleaner was to play with--preverts!
