I really need to sell this car this week due to the owner selling the property it is located on. Buyer tows at own expense.

I know there have been some great "just for parts" cars that have ran well but he does point out a lot of stuff

ok, I'm just trying to make fun of you

true---tow yard paperwork and cancer around the windshield are bright red flags that imply BIG BUX TO RESTORE AND DRIVE because with tow yard papres, one must talk the vmv into registering the vehicle---sometimes rather difficult and most expensive.......and do no tforget the smog factor----if out of state, cali is BITCH on regiastering towyard cars......called salvagew vehicle --considered unsafe and very difficult to register.....tof----not the car for your meager budget.......ps----BOYS get to pay for their proms---girls just get to go to the proms.......if you weanna go to a prom, do not bitch about the cost..........it was your choice to go in the first place---should have cost you 1000$, if you LIKE the girl.......so do not complain about the expense of dating..

you got the tools to check spark plug gap? you need feeler guages. not a comon thing. and spark plugs come pre gapped though possible for them to be bent outta spec if dropped.

i thought that they sold the metal discs that measured the gap at most auto parts shops? and im thinking about going a little bit thicker than 10W 30W but my question is will it effect the turbo since it's oil cooled?

dont go thicker there is no reason. stick with 10W-30 its a good weight. and yeah i guess they do sell those never thought about them. but still ive never had to gap new spark plugs

tof---why are you using platinum plugs ? you do not need them in your z. ngk makes good plugs. are you going to race the car???? if not----use regular spec plugs for the model car you are driving.

the last time i had to gap plugs was in 1971......why are you tweaking this project to death??? repco bi metal brake pads are a must, 100 % propylene glycol in the radiator and overflow containers.....vinegar in the windscreen and headlite washers.......quarter strength......castrol low moisture absorbing brake fluid......why risk life and limb on cheap stuff-is only pennies difference---but why spend so much money on each spark plug when the car wasnt designed for them......and THEN complain that ya cannot support a family of 4 yada yada.........ok?????? got it yet????? SPEC PLUGS WILL NOT HURT THE CAR. the wrong ones will, over time......
