well he said if he cant fine the title tonight searching the house with his mom they will apply for a new title. since that could take a week or two he said what he did with his car when he sold it to a guy and the bank still had the title (still making payments) made a lien type of contract saying money was paid waiting on title for transfer and basically saying the bike was legit owned by the other person and allowed him to drive i his plates i believe then when the new title comes i can go get it or he can mail it and transfer it to my ownership. sounds pretty legit and air tight and i could deal with that since i WANT TO RIDE but wonderin what you guys think if you could see any loopholes in that. i mean i have rust in him lives at home nice guy has registration for it so it really cant be stolen and i doubt he would try to pull something as shady as report it stolen afterwards but what do you guys think

Tell him you will pay the 12 dollars now to get the title rushed to you, takes 3 days, then pay him when it gets there. But what do I know, the guy I bought my car from tried to extort more money from me saying I forged the Bill of sale, I did not, but he tried, I pulled my .40 sigma and told him to **** off my property. haven't heard from him since.

i;d kill for that luxury right now ^^^^ our HAVE to be done through mail it even says that on the IL DMV website. such bullshit. if you can prove who you are and the title is in the computers indicating you as the owner it should be just printed out right then and there. ***** ****as!

Snw, if you continue to have problems with the title then look into this, get a bill of sale and the bike to your house and call these guys to see if they can help you. These are the people I have to go through to get a title for my bike. they told me based on the year and size of the bike that it will cost me $165 for a title, registration and tag, all of which they will mail to me...I guess it is up to me to take what they send me and title it in my state. Good Luck.

he had it registered so it will just be re issued for 65 dollars then i get the title we made up a bill of sale though stating the current issue both signed and initialed it with copies of our drivers licenses on it. sooo basically... the bike is in my garage right now. 10 minutes ago it was between my legs for 3 hours. was a fun fun cruise. me and my two buddies on on an 04 R6 one on and 08 R6 i only have a permit though so when we got back to town as soon as my buddy with his license left us me and my other buddy (both only have permits) got trailed by one of our local law enforcement extrodinare's all the way till my street (about 4 miles) it was BULL **** but made it home fine. such a ****in pig busted a U - y just to follow the 2 bikes on the road doing nothing wrong instead of going his set path. the pigs in this town are TOTAL D-bags two i've never seen another set of officers this big of ********. id have pics but was to busy riding to take any. tomorrow though
