painted my truck
so i decided that today was a good day to start painting my truck and this is how it went so far.. this is one coat on the bed thats pretty much all i got done since i had to take it apart after work today..
i still have to go over it again but i think its pretty good for my first real paint job i care about. i'm gonna wet sand the bed tomorrow and spray another coat and probaly go with two coats of clear just to make sure i don't get any light spots...

while your fixing, catch that dent in the side of the box and go the extra mile. trust me its worth it in the end. that paint job looks pretty good for a cheapo gun. and i think those are the first pix of your car ive seen!! and yeah, bugs will find what ya just painted every time. are you able to wet sand them out and polish?

my truck ya i think this is the second time i posted pictures of it. i was just gonna leave the dent i think it adds character.. haha no i might fix it later down the road but for now i have less than a week to finish the paint clear and a new clutch..... i'm moving... i thought it was coming out pretty good for using a cheap *** gun that cost me $11....

well i got bored and i haven't had any time to work on my truck... actually the parts that need to be put in are starting to pile up in the back seat... rear brake shoes, rear axle seals, ball joints, heater valves, etc. going to school and working 40+ makes it insanely difficult to keep up your dd let alone your projects. but anyway i had a few extra minutes and since my old kenwood finally crapped out i decided to upgrade... with a dual xdvd8182...

looks good, have u been painting long? i see a couple dry spots in the first pic. idk if thats glare or what so im gonna go with dry spots. make sure when your spraying your doing 50/50 basically u cover 50% of what you just sprayed. to tack b4 u put another coat on. is gun type is your gun?

actually that was the first car i've ever painted... i'm gonna redo most of it since i have some body work i skipped ove to speed up the process.. i have to replace a few body panels not to mention fix the paint on the fender from the ******* on the bike that i hit the other day.... its just a cheap harbor frieght gun.. i only sprayed it like that to make it look a little more presentable than 12 different colors like it was.... and now my wonderful dvd player crapped out again for the second time in 3 days i replaced the first one today i had to drive 45 minutes to go to a store that had one for it to crap out again tonight thank u dual!!!
