Man... you really need to see this: http://www.angelfire.com/extreme/280zxt/ A 450hp 280zxt.... just imagine that engine in a lighter 240z.

Those guys were morons... no way around it. They did EVERYTHING wrong, and they deserved to lose their car. Now, I think the other team were ******** and they sandbagged like mad, they also got to run a different car than what they were supposed to run. So, the whole thing was bullshit.

Rod.

Why is it that usually people who are REALLY into drag racing are ether fat or hicks? Last time i went to a drag race i sleeped! It takes no skill to win in a drag race just horsepower <_<.

You obviously have never drag raced in an NHRA sanctioned event or at a track. In a legitamit drag race the tree is the thing to beat. You can have a lesser powered car and still beat your opponent if your r.t. is good, you dont red light and are able to hook up the tires with out spinning like crazy. Ive seen it a million times. Drag racing is ALL about driver skill.

Where you see all the "hicks and fat people" are usually the events where it comes down to one race. Whoever crosses that line faster. Where skill isn't as involved. He isn't talking about the sanctioned events, at least I don't think.
