RB Motoring
Just a heads up for anyone looking to buy some wheels... I recently bought some Advan Oni wheels from RBmotoring and to say the least I'm very disapointed. The pictures they showed me of the wheels showed them to be in near excellent condition. I recieved the wheels and there coroded, covered in brake dust and overall they look horrible, nothing I would ever put on my car. So if anyones looking to buy any wheels from them I wouldn't suggest it, but if you must just make sure you get pictures of every inch of every wheel before buying.

maybe its not brake dust? Its almost like bad rust, Iv never seen it whatever it is. But it will not come off with scotch brite, sand paper, anything. They're two peice wheels, The center is coated silver and the outside is polished. Two of the wheels are terrible but the other two are mostly coroded on the inside so I can live with that.
What should I do as far as repolishing the lip? I have a Polish ball but its way beyond using that. Ill go try and take some pictures
thanks

Were these used wheels you were buying or were they suppose to be new? I would be very pissed if they were suppose to be new. To the point I would return them and ask for my money back, or replace my wheels with new wheels! That's just messed up! Can you take pictures of what the wheels look like now? I'm curious to how they look. Thanks...sorry for your bad experience.

I check out the website...now I know what the wheels look like, the pictures look like used wheels. But I can't say this is what you got, this is just what I see from this site. I'm curious to see what you got.

This is just one of the wheels they list...
After looking thorughout the site...it looks as though all these wheels are used. But they should give you what you purchase in this case. I like the 16" RS Watanabe they have for sell for about $400. Not too bad!

I just got a picture of one of the wheels that happened to be inside. As you can see the inside is covered. One of the wheels actually has that on the outside lip. And no I knew they were used but I was just upset because I was expecting wheels in much better shape.
Before these I had bought some Advans from another company that brought wheels over from Japan. I paid less for them and they were in great shape, like advertised but they were 5 lug.
I have some time before I can drive my car anyways so I think Im going to refurbish these wheels since RB wont refund them. I thought they were two piece wheels but after looking closely they dont seem to actually seperate? Ill have to actually take off the rivets to see how they come apart.

Chinesekid, thanks for the offer man, I wish I would have known that before hand. A wire wheel will definately work, I tried it real quick. And I dont think any type of cleaner will work, its too bad for that. I just need to figure out what kind of fasteners are holding them together now. I got one out after about and hours worth of work but Id like to buy the correct socket or tool to remove them since I have 129 left Just not sure what there even called. Heres a picture, maybe someones seen these before?

you got a NIKON and you arent good at pictures lol. hmmm, thats interesting. maybe try one of those universal sockets they make that are supposed to grab anything, then you can get another socket on the other side and spin yo!
