Why bother? I am pretty sure he has a triple overhead cam anyway. And a quad turbo setup with a FUSTMIC.. That's a Front, Under, Side, Top mount intercooler for you noobs. Almost like an air cooled engine. But different.

 

Ummm, uhhhh, hmmmm....I wonder if this...person....was fed a line of crap from someone and was tricked into buying what I can only describe as one of the coolest, most powerful looking ZX's I have ever seen.

300hp...racing hoses...CAI.....CARBON FIBER EXHAUST!!!!!! The car looks nice and all but come on....yeah, some flaming is in order...just as soon as the sight maintenance is done. Ummm where are the Turbo Rims?

Dude you can totally chip your ECU. Just like I'm planning on doing. Get a chip, potato, computer, it doesn't matter. Lay it on top of the ECU. Use a Hammer to install. Easy.

Ohhh you guys messed up. See what he meant is it has the racing pistons, but it has a crank. Like an L28 crank. It's JDM to have a crank these days. Reminds me of the story I read about some kid freaking out about his friend's riced Honda saying things like man it's got an INTAKE!

Also reminds me of people I used to work with. Some local kid had a Civic. Everyone would ask me about my old 280ZX 2+2 and ask is it fast? Can it beat VTEC? Also the local Civic was supposedly supercharged, but according to him and everyone else the belt had snapped on the super charger and he just never replaced it.

What is it with the VTEC? It's a ricers best friends. It's awesome fast, but every time they get beat they say the VTEC didn't kick in. lmao

Fast and Honda cars have little in common.
That is not to say I don't know of some people on the street with 600+ wheel horse power Hondas. But, it's rare.

I have taken a "fast" VTEC H22 Prelude. I have a slow car. It was uber slow if I beat it. lols.
15 second 1/4 miles are NOT fast.

That took me about 15min to remember my sign in info on Cardomain...I just posted a response to his "Turbo"...now I should go fix my Cardomain as it is WAY out of date.

 

You know what's funny too the whole VTEC kicking in thing. Isn't it the other way around? I thought basically all the VTEC did was change the valve angle to allow improved low end power, so basically once you got up to a certain RPM it would technically be kicking off, as it's now just acting like normal rather than adjusting the valve angle so you have the better higher end power?

 

VTEC is a very mysteroius being, only true honda night-time street racing kings can master its power... those who say hondas are slow have never truely experienced Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control.. (aka) VVTLEC.. (aka) VTEC... MUGEN POWER BABY!!!

 

Well.. The VTEC changes the total duration of the cam over 4500rpms through a hydraulically operated rocker that pivots on the rocker shaft and locks into place riding on a separate cam lobe in between the other two lobes used to the valves.
So no.
It does come on at 4500, not off.
