Road trip requires three things:
1) Reliable Vehicle
2) Music
3) Red Bull, Red Bull, Red Bull

A 4th option is a good passenger. When I say good, I mean someone who doesn't whine.

Or sleep.

My girlfriend is out in a matter of minutes of getting on the highway. Its great for the first 3-4 hours. After that I need someone but myself and classic rock for entertainment. Theres only so much Rush Limbaugh(sp?) one can take.

hahaha, well i've got a good passanger, but most likely I'm going to be the sleeping kid.
Also the quart of oil is a good good idea! it's going to be about 1200 miles so that's probably a good thing to carry with.
Also 50% of the minifridge has been claimed by Energy Drinks wooo
And set with darn near 7000 songs to listen to, hopefully I won't get bored of the Musicccc

I'm crossing my fingers on the reliable car part. My friend and I are taking his Audi 200 Quattro there and back since it has more room and gets the same gas mileage as my 280ZX. Sadly neither of the cars have A/C so we're going to travel at night. (I feel like I'm apart of some war movie everytime I say that...traveling at night...)
anyways, thanks for all the suggestions. Definately very good ideas that need to be on the list for any trip!

when I am on a long road trip I notice I always fall asleep with the pasenger. I must be a better driver when I am asleep, cus I havn't crashed yet and I havn't woke myself up swerving. I did however wake up one time careening down an exit I didn't want to take in middle of downtown Houston. Yea we are talking 4 lane Highways. I am still alive with no acidents under these conditions.
