SO The S13 is going bye bye, and I'm getting back in the game

Yeah, it has been 2 years, the S13 was a loyal car, after so many motor swaps, track events, and fun. It's time to let her go. Drifter Boi scene is just blah. So I'm letting her go. Pretty soon (within the next few weeks) someone is picking her up for 6K. so I'm on the Market for a nice Z32. I'm looking into getting a 91-93 N/A. Z's are a hell of allot more expensive. so I plan to Just make it look dead sexy first. (and Reliable of course) plans are (no matter what year and Mlage) that will run me abt 1K at most.

60K mile timing belt kit is around 400$
Fuel Filter 12$
NGK Plugs 3$ a piece (yes i have a connect) 18$
Oil Filter is 5$
Coolant flush and clean is about 30$ (I always add Water Wetter)
Tranny fluid 30$(2.5Q)
Gear oil 10$ (1.5Q)
Test Pipes abt 150$
Apexi Intake 65$

ok so that's 720$ but then there is tax and shipping... whatever
might have to fix a thing or 2 who knows.
what do you guys think?

for looks the plan is pretty simple but I think it will be very effective

99Jspec Front Facia
Volk LE-37 19X8.5 +12 and 19X9.5+22
JDM Wing
JDM Tail Lights
KYB AGX + Ground Control Coilover kit
SPL RUCA's
SPL FUCA
350Z Front Brembo
STi Rear Brembo Caliper

those are the plans as of right now. Later on after I got the car up to Par where I want it. get a Front Clip and Swap the *****.

you didnt list any catback section, just test pipes....

also yeha the drifter seen is dying fast i think and with my car finally running great i can finally make her purdy, and maybe sell her for a TT.

btw how much are you selling the S13 for anyways?

Reason I didn't list a catback is because I wanna Wait for the Twin Turbo Swap (N/A is too loud and dosent sound cool)

the S13 Sold for 6K

get the catback instead of test pipes. then you wont have to replace your test pipes with TT ones when you upgrade your downpipes.

****, if I recall correctly the Downpipes / test pipes are the same on the TT and N/A Modelts. the Header Flange and the Turbo Elbow flange is the same.

damn that's weak sauce / sucks why in the world would the US downpipes change? anyway well yeah i looked at Z1's website today and saw they got 2 different test pipes. bleh that sucks. well I guess I'll think about it on the car back. I still haven't made up my mind on what i want. I know the HKS Carbon Ti sounds sweet. (I had it on the S13) nothing like that sound and I heard it on a few Z32's before as well and it sounds bitchin. but bleh something about the Z32 and those big *** canisters just don't mix very well

i guess because I had a slanted exhaust like that for over 2 years, ha ha idk. I want to keep the Z looking Clean. not an Agressive Racer look. but not stock. something with class that makes it look High End. Sound High End, and Drop The girlies Panties. I have nothing against HKS exhaust they are supper high quality products. but it's just not the style im looking for. I'm willing to sacrifise some flow for something more conservative

yet nothing can match the sounds of these
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UT0Zcq6ldxE

this is an R32 with the HKS High Power
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMwhMstFofA

Specialty Z
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfq6jaHRsAo&NR=1

so IMO HKS sounds Better. just the single fart cans is what's apealing

for the kind of power im looking for 2.5" is fine 3" is to big. my RB had a 2.5" exhaust when i first dropped it in. i went to a 3" HKS and i felt the power loss. my *** DYNO felt the power loss. so 2.5" is fine with me.
