Stupid cell phone drivers
Okies...i needs to vent befores the shock wears off and i'm really hurting. Well to make a long story short, I was driving home from school when this girl trying to turn into Sonic and talking on her cell phone decided to turn when i was right in front of her. Yeah, I T-Boned her doing 30-40ish. She had no license or insurance....and after recieving 3 tickets for it, the stupid cop let her drive away. We're both ok....but as for my baby....someone please say this is fixable

Ouch! I feel your pain. It looks to be the same crunched front end, as my '81. Unless you have some mad welding skills. And also a good resource for getting another front part. I am afraid, that Z is done.

everything is still lined up fine...steering not affected....motor isn't pushed back, though what i'm worried about is radiator looks pushed back like an inch...but the damage is confined to that area. It was a pretty straight hit. i'lll definitely be taking pics of it today

okies okies...update update ....she's fixable. It's only going to cost me $500 to get the Z towed to the shop, front end straightened out and painted (thank god the rest of the car's been painted recently so paint maching will be like easy). Wow, this car help up pretty good for a 35mph head-on shot. I wasn't nearly as sore as i'd thought i would be (I've been in a front-end before, but i was a passenger then) The downside to it is the cost doesn't include replacing the bolt on stuff like hood, fenders, bumper, apron, or light buckets...but i don't care, i can find more of those parts. I'm so happy, that's been like the best news i've heard so far. Though there hasn't been anything new on the uninsured/unlicensed driver, though i'm suppose to be talking to a lawyer tomorrow so i'll keep everyone posted on how that turns out. Ciao for now =^_^=

If they can find her.^^ I'm surprised they let her drive off if it happened on a public road. My wife and I got T-boned in a parking lot once and the cop let the guy go, no drivers license or insurance. Cop told me that "technically" you don't have to have a drivers license to drive a car in a parking lot because it is private property. We ended up having to eat the deductible on that one. Good luck with the whole fiasco GypZ!!
