A burnout, IMO, is just not worth a set of tires. Oh sure, I enjoy watching other people smoke em up. Thats good fun But I tend to stay away from that sort of senseless behavior. Now a good donut or some serious sideways action, now THAT WORTH A SET OF TIRES
Of course you really gotta feel sorry for the guys in who go out and throw in a set of 3" lowering springs without correcting their camber and end up going through sets of tires just driving around having no fun faster then I do tearing it up and having a great time

I'm still working on getting my rear camber squared away after lowering the car. SPC doesn't make any of the kits anymore, so we're trying to piece some stuff together at the shop when we have the spare time. I just keep rotating my tires to help fend off the nasty inner edge wear. Rear toe is also a little whacked, so I need to get that situated too. One thing at a time. I did get my weird understeer problem corrected though. Tweaked the toe a little bit and played around with air pressure until I found a pretty neutral handling point. I can still kick the *** end out when I want, but it doesn't want to plow in the front anymore. I celebrated the Chargers ***-whooping over the Patriots today with a nice spirited drive through the back wood boonies... lot's of twists and curves. She did pretty good for a 25 year old car with 245K on her

Dude I know that guy. He goes to all the track events with my Z club. That lightening can handle pretty freaking well for a truck too. By the way, the tires he used to do that burnout were old track tires that he didnt need anymore. That was the NOPI Nationals burnout contest and he won it last year. This year hes using an old set of tires off of a guys Viper who is also in the club. Its Triangle Z Club in Raleigh, North Carolina if anyone was wondering.
