What song best describes your mood?

Music is music man, I don't care if people think different of me because I like something they think is weird, like ABBA. The brunette from that group went on her own, Freda I think is what her band was called, I like that too...what was that song, oh yes "I know there's something goin on", great song and she can sing. Hell I like Elton John, Culture Club and George Michael...not because I am gay, I am not, but they can sing there twinkle toes off. But guitar music is to me the best, lead guitars and solos...not a fan of John Denver even though he has sold like a trillion albums, just couldn't get into his music.

I hear you man, I listen to what I like. Not what other people like, I am my own person. That is what makes us different, having our own tastes, and whatnot. Everything I have listened to, or still do, is all me. Of course there is nothing wrong with feedback from other people. If they steer me towards something, and I take it from there. Then I determine, if I want to keep listening to it. Or throw it in the trash, well anyway you get my point.
Oh and by the way, I agree with those artists you mentioned thxone. And I think John Denver is pretty good. I grew up listening to that soft rock, folk, and some country. But now I am a rocker, metalhead for life. He he

Sing on though!

i do not enjoy rap--i have made upo spoof-rappish songs at my friends place in compton/gardena------for fun and jest and comic relief when needed at work in LA ghetto ERs------------i have (HAD) to listen so i could keep current with the population and know what was going on--i had to treat them--i should have the respect required to try to understand their culture and lifestyle----survival, mate.........
there are some lovely souls who live there --they deserve respect--only the few screw it up for the entire population--i have never in my life felt safer than when i was on the streets of ghettoLA --day or nite--when it is not safe, you can FEEL it--most of the folks are so very good - souled. scared. very scared. the few screw it up bigtime for the rest.........
ps--i am a pure-lily white wasp rn . i treat everyone the same because we alll are-----------------

Radar Love is a good driving & ****ing song.
Currently, and for a number of years, I've been Dazed & Confused.
Pink Floyd has to be the best stoner music evar.
Robin Trower was one of the best on guitar, when in the altered state of mind.

The first time I heard Slayers Angel of Death was in a white, square bodied Z24 Cavalier and we were listening to the first stereo I ever helped build. We had to remove the back seat completely and cut out the metal bracing so we could fit the 4 Orion 12's in a huge isobaric box on top of which was another box that held 2 Orion 10's. We went to a music store and bought a few CD's...at that time they came in large cardboard sleeves. We were cruising a K-Mart parking lot when he decided to put in the Slayer CD. It was new to me and it sounded so mind blowing, to think that a metal band actually had bass in it, I thought it was just devil music. So as we drove by the front of the store the double kick drum "kicked" in and he cranked it up...LOUD!!! That little move cost him just over $5,000 as it shattered one of the large front windows on the K-Mart store. It was the most impressive thing I had ever witnessed and I was hooked on metal and car audio from that day on.
I still listen to rap and bass music but not as much as metal, there is just something about pulling up to a Caprice on dubs that's pounding some 50cent and just drowning out their bass with some heavy bass guitar and double kick drum, oh the looks of disgust I have gotten...it's a hoot. Still, the only car I have not been able to stay seated in because of the bass was a 1991 Mustang GT...a black one...it had 4 Rockford 12's facing the hatch glass and a punch150 on each 12...it was brutal!!!

You have good taste in music Z Hag....I like the bluesy stuff too- Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, ZZ Top, etc. I also like Southern Rock- Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Bros., Marshall Tucker Band, Charlie Daniels band, that music has so much SOUL.....not to mention kickass guitar playin. I also love Guns N Roses- Slash is one of my alltime favorite guitar players.
I would pretty much have to be threatened with bodily harm to ever listen to rap......
