Z32 end?

Z32 end?
so i'm wondering how long parts will be available for the Z's, especially the Z32. yea you can practically build a model T from a catalouge still, but will parts for the Z32 still be around for 100 years after it was made? i doubt it, but what is the future of this age of Z looking like? speculations?
nissan seems to keep a pretty good parts supply, but they are already expensive. will it get worse? or better?
and most importantly, how long do you reckon this forum will be around!?

your all nuts! they cant outlaw old cars. they would render to many people without cars. they just strengthen new car emmision laws and set standards on dealerships. also, all bussiness are setup on a supply demand operation. and the free market keeps prices down aka why there are no monopolies. the Z32 will be around for many years to come. look at the S30! its still got a healthy amount of attention and thats almost 40 years later now

true story. i'm hoping that you are right about the "many years to come". it would suck to get out of college and buy a TT just to find that i can't get parts for it anymore and Z1 and all the other performance parts manufacturers have closed!

nissan in a lil while down the road might pull the plug on making parts for them (genuine oem parts that is) but there will always be aftermarket support unless some one goes around and destroys all the Z32's in the world

good to hear. i started wiggin' out when my friend was buying a conquest and decided not to because so many parts arn't available. granted, the quest is a MUCH differenct car with probably a tiny fraction of the following that the z has. but all cars will follow the same pattern in the long run. some just stretch it out more

Z cars have a huge following, and have since they came out. Nissan is very proud of the Z car heritage, and i doubt that will change any time soon. heck, they even restored some 240z's to factory spec back in the '90s and sold them at dealerships. show me another Japanese car with so much history and heritage. look at all the Z clubs out there, that have been around for years. look at the huge variety of the members of these clubs. imagine the outcry if support suddenly dried up. i think Z parts will be availlable for a long time.
