so here's another related thought. the trends that i see involve the value of the N/A going down in general and the value of the TT going up. will this continue? when might we expect the N/As to start appreciating?

the way the markets going and economic issues-----they will not go up in value considerably-----they will drop in value unless the world gets stoopit and bans internal combustion engines in the name of slowing global warmiong--HA....at which time you will want to make yours a mooring anchor for after the flood........better get ready........

here ill give an actual answer. the auto manufactures dont have to produce parts for any car older than 10 years. after that they sell all the extras and thats it. sometimes they produce some extra parts that fail easily, but not always. itll be up to the aftermarket to decide if its worth making the parts. i still was able to get brand new from nissan bumpers for my car, door locks and door switches. things like sensors tho, seem to be harder to get, for whatever reason. at least at my local dealership, he even had to email japan to see.
