Hey don't be dissing my favorite band. And one of the best power trios in music. I have seen them three times. And was never disappointed...they put on a great show. And it usually is almost 3 hours..and by them selves. Besides all that...they are pretty much the biggest impact on me musically.

saw them a few weeks ago. 3 hour show, just them. 8-9 min solo from Niel. plenty of old stuff, and the stuff from the new album was pretty decent. lots of funny little videos between songs and sets too.

i can argue all day long.

and as for Rush

Niel Peart: Best drummer EVER! The Professor.

Geddy Lee: amazing, world class bassist. one of the very best.

Alex Lifeson: Kickass Guitarist.

Been going since '68. no drama, no breakups, no blowups. keep up with the times without forgetting their roots. just an all around great band.

not saying they are the best band ever, 'cause i don't say that about anything (except Niel ). but they are certainly one of the best.

Very well put my friend. I couldn't have said it any better. Minus the little mishap with Neil Peart's loss of his wife and daughter. That the band decided to take a break for a few years. But they came back in full force...and they deserve mad props for that.

Yeah really? What is your point to all this? And watch it...I have been told by many people. That I sound just like Geddy Lee. When I sing Rush at karaoke. And I am not making it up. And I don't want to sound like I am bragging either.

To you they would all be the best. And no Led Zeppelin was not an '80's band. They didn't even make it that far. Because of the loss of drummer John Bonham in '79. Review your rock history kid.

Anyway I agree with all the bands you listed minus..sublime. I never much cared for their style of music or what they portrayed.

Incubus..I like. Chili Peppers and Sublime. I am not a huge fan of. Sorry...just not my cup of tea. And it sounded like you were more than a year off with Zeppelin. Considering.....you said '80's not '80.

John Frusciante from the Chili Peppers is a kick *** guitarist.

For alltime best though I'm going with Skynyrd.....one of the greatest vocalists/lyricists of all time, Ronnie Van Zant and the awesome triple guitar assault of Allen Collins, Gary Rossington & Ed King (later Steve Gaines), not to mention the current lineup. And if this makes me a redneck, so be it.

I've never seen Rush, but I agree rush is sweet. ZZ Top isn't bad, but I don't like enough of their stuff. Skynyrd is cool. I just saw Iron Maiden the other night, that was a pretty good show.
