rain race tires

I was wondering what a good suggestion would be for DOT race rain tires? Currently, I'm running Kumho's, and I wouldn't want to take my chances. I'd like rain's to be about the same price.

I wonder how these would work !

Around here most people used the Hooiser dirt Stockers , and I know
a few guys who are using Toyo RA-1's and grooved the tires a bit more.

Intrieging, but unfortunatley for me, they are not DOT approved.

Just a thought, they advertise the same V700's I have as "wet" worthy if not shaved. Has anyone done this?
