i guess nismo but the nova has alot of sentimental value. my dad practically raised us in that car. and by the way it's a 4 door vinyl top with a straight six. and 2by2 nice to meet you, you'll find a 240z soon enough just be patient and be verry **** when you pick out THE 240z for you.

two and a half years isnt much, its when the cars spent 1/4 or more of its life sitting is when you need to worry, new battery pop the valve cover off a put a little bit of oil in the cylinders try and start it up, mabe try some new gas. it depends on where you live if it goes bad in that sort of time or not.

i wonder how bad the t belts are to change in a z31 compared to the same years maxima. if its any where near as bad i would dfinitly save up for that even if it doesent need it just save it.
i'll never understand why they didnt just stick with a chain.

I would have said that, but the 240Z isn't running well, and he seems to be against trying to figure out how to fix it. At least the Z31 runs and can get him around.
Timing Belt on the Z31 is not that bad. Is the maxima front or rear wheel drive? I'm guessing it's rear so you have the engine mounted in there differently. First thing I ever learned to do on a car was change the timing belt on my 85' Z31 I had. It takes some work, but really if you know what you're doing my friend and I were able to get to the timing belt in about 45min to 1 hour.
