MKIII Supra

So far this is my Supra update page since every now and then I get questoins about it:

So far what done to it.....

FMIC
K&N FIPK (intake)
Bosche BOV
62 trim turbo
turbo xs MBC
silicone msd wires
ngk plugs
oil filter relocation kit (higher oil pressure)
MHG
Custom exhaust (turbo elbow back with a flowmaster muffler--sounds amazing, but loud because of the catco cat and straight 3 in pipe everywhere else)
retorqued headlbolts
obvioulsy the swapped motor (7mgte)
custom intercooler hardpipes and all silicone vacuum hoses in the works (working on it)
about to be new tires too and new brakes
89+tailights
ice consists of--kenwood deck, 2 12" kicker compVRs, 2 kicker 6x9s, one kicker amp, one other amp (both 1000 watts or something), infinity kappa front speakers.......I'm not a big ICE guy, but it all came with it, that's why I dont know too much about it

There's more, but I'm too tired to think of all the little stuff right now, I'll add more as I think of it.

Did you do the engine swap yourself, or was it like that when you bought it?

How many miles doyou have on it?

I bought it with the swap. Only other thing that was on there when I bought it was the exhaust and the intake, oh and the BOV. Everything else I've added. I forgot to mention a Walbro fuel pump and an ACT clutch. There are 160K on the body and about 25K on the rebuilt motor. The guy I bought it from bought a JDM motor, got it rebuilt at a shop and put into the car. He bought it with a blown motor and had a shop do the swap, not difficult (basically an engine replacement) He had the diff rebuilt and the tranny freshened (it has the turbo tranny too). I'll post some pics once I take some. The exterior sucks right now though. Needs a paint job pretty bad. I'll take some engine bay pics. And some pics of my custom intercooler pipes progress as well.

Oh the turbo he had put on there too. Though it wasn't doing very much only boosting 8 psi.

So the Supra blew a head gasket. I ended up replacing the head gasket and head bolts (arp) over my winter break as well as replacing a bunch and finishing up my intercooler pipes and upgrading a bunch of stuff. I got it back together just in time to take it back to school (2 days before I was to leave) and then realize the throttle cable is messed up. I'm driving the Z now. Dumb cars. Basically though, the motor is that much better now that I've replaced so much stuff and junk. I'll post some pics of my HG job. For those wondering, BHGs are extremely common on MK3 supras due to a factory headblot torque level of only 35 ft/lb....something that was corrected in 92.

Cool that you fixed the Supra. I like the MKIII's though, they make good power and sound pretty mean at WOT. I saw an MKII Supra on the freeway yesterday that had an "L6 eater" sticker on the rear, I thought that was funny.
