Must be that special edition our other Mustang GTR friend was talking about
I heard those things came with one of those Rotory Piston engines.

Yeah the base GTR package is rumored to run in the 8.5 range. But the GTR Si Type-R SpecV package can easily run 7's

No... Not 7's... You have to add the STi and TRD packages to the GTR Si Type-R Spec V to get into the 7's

Rod.

P.S.

I think you may also need to upgrade to the Forged Rotary Pistons...

dont forget the SVT and SRT packages. those take it to 5 sec 1/4 miles. than a gallo 24, but make sure you dont blow the welds on the manifold.

The best thing for the stangs is adding V-tec and GTS. ^Thoughs^ packages do fine, but pale in comperison to V-tec and GTS. That and sphyrical muffler bearings and you'll be doing wheelies all day. The FRPs (forged rotary pistons) are a must. And the rotary crankshaft will blow up if you don't but the Ford racing one in. Revving to that high 5500rpms is killer on it.

i feel bad for cars that get that done to them but it makes me happy when the people that did it get made fun of.
this is the setting for the guy buying the badge. auto zone looking to do an oil change finds out its a little cheaper than he expected so he has an extra i dont know lets say 7 dollars and decides lets make my mustang gt a gtr without actually swapping a nissan engine into it. so he spends his extra seven dollars and doesnt wait to get home to put it on, no he puts it on right in the parking lot and removes the old emblem with his key and in the process he scratches his paint to hell but thankfully the r of the gtr emblem covers most of the scratches not knowing one day soon it will rust in that very spot. or maybye he didnt even take off the old emblem cause i think but im not sure, that they are on the right side. so maybye its a gt and a gtr thats like double the horse power right? all he needs now is an apc sticker and hell be at like 1100 whp not wait lets make it awhp....... sorry guys i was bored

My guess its not even a GT its a V6 put that GTR badge adds the horsepower to make it faster than those darn V8 stangs. And if he decides to add a dragon decal he will be able to smoke a Z06.
