Talon vs Eclipse?

Talon vs Eclipse?
:bling: :bling: I was wondering if the 95-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX would be the same as a 95-99 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. I can find a ton of aftermarket accessories for the Eclipse and some say for Eclipse/Talon. I was wondering if maybe the headlights are the same or something. I admit it, I'm too lazy to look around. Any help would be appreciated.

I think for the most part they are the same car, as is the plymouth laser. Mitsubishi had a few cars like that. the 3000gt and the Dodge stealth were the same, as were the Mitsubishi Starion and the Chrysler Conquest. I thik the major differences are cosmetic, i.e. a different wing or slightly different headlights, but dont quote me on that.

right on the money entropy31....they are the same cars except some cosmetics....while eclipse gsx has that eclipse looking wing ( hence the name ) talon has a window wrap around wing... body kits are the same, and headlights are just a bit different...the ones on eclipse look better and hold up better throughout the years... inside they are the same... i thing gsx had option or standard leather, and talons are cheaper to find... if you put a body kit and remove that ugly talon wing, and swap out some tail lights it's the same car.

Yes, I know what the cosmetic differences are (considering my neighbor owns an eclipse and we have a talon ourselves). What I was asking was measurements on the headlights and such. If I could maybe swap the Talon headlights for a pair of 97' GSX Black Housing projectors. LOL of course they look like the same car..isn't eagle just like acura? Eagle is American-made Mitsubishi and Acura is American-made Honda..?

If you swap the talon headlights for eclipse headlights, you need to get an eclipse bumper, otherwise you will have a wierd gap. If you want any info on eclipses or talons, you should visit
