This is a custom made sealed 10" subs box for a Nissan 300ZX 90-95. It was mounted in a '95 Z with a black exterior and tan interior. The box fits in the recess of the trunk space with the spare tire removed. It is very easy to install; a few wood screws mounted to the trunk, and its ready to go. The box is made of high quality MDF (medium density fiberboard), looks and sounds great. You can mount the subs with the cones or magnets facing out (but magnets look waaayyyyy better).
The filler pieces fit perfectly around the box and give the trunk a clean sweet look. The rectangular piece with rectangular hole is designed to house the amp, located in the rear center of the trunk, just behind the seats. The hole is large enough to accommodate amps of many sizes. The velcro on the bottom of the larger pieces attaches them more firmly to the Z's factory pressboard insert that covers the spare tire. Oh, one of the larger pieces has a slight tear in the fabric about an inch long (see photo). It is in a very inconspicuous place that is easily covered upon installation.
I paid mad cash to get this built. You can install what you see here in about an hour for a fraction of the cost. If you're lookin' for a phat system on a budget, this is it. $325 + shipping (if applicable). (to the lower US 48) is included in the price. However, if you're in the Los Angeles area, we can meet somewhere and avoid the shipping cost. Send me questions to sysdev5@yahoo.com.
