78 280z for sale in Ohio, with no Eng/Trans
I have a 78 that has minor rust on the exterior, some at the rear of the passenger side rocker panel and some at the very bottom of the passenger side quarter panel.
The drivers side has some rust but only surface rust. I have jabbed at it pretty hard with a pick and could not penetrate it.
The right front fender has been tweaked at the wheelwell, but could be easily straightened. Both front fenders have only surface rust at the bottoms(no rust through).
It has a rust free hatch that has holes drilled for a factory spoiler.
The rust in the doors could be repaired but it would be much easier to just replace them.
The front valance is bent but I have a used msa urethane air dam that could go with the car.
The frame rails and floors have no rust at all.
It has the stock 78 bumpers, the chrome on the rear is bad and somewhat pitted, it should be replaced.
The filler panel above the tailights is rusted through at one side, but I have a good one that I cut from a parts car with my plasma cutter that goes with the car.
I also have some other factory Datsun sheet metal cut from a couple parts cars that will also go with the car. Their should be everything here to weld patch panels wherever needed.
The hood is a stock vented hood with no dents or rust that I can see.
The interior is intact, but the dash is cracked and the drivers seat is torn. I have a new velour dash mat that I can throw in.
The carpet is dirty but could be cleaned except for in the hatch area. It is badly faded, and dry rotted.
All of the glass is there, but I think there is a small crack in the windshield.
It has 14" western mags, The same style as the "General Lee"WOO HOO , but without the black accents.(no center caps either)
One of the tailights is cracked, but I have a good replacement.
This car still has the original paint and has never been bondoed up,What you see is what you get.
If I had a digital camera I would post some pics, but I`ve tried to describe the car as completely as possible.
I`m asking 600.00 With the airdam and all of the parts mentioned above. I would consider delivering the car for .50 a mile round trip.
