What to store my car tires in

am trying to figure out what to store my extra set of tires in. I don't have a garage but a small balcony where I can store them on top of each other. Downside of that is they are subject to the elements. Any non-rack (not allowed per the managment office) suggestions would be great.

When you switch between summer & winter tires, most tire shops give you the other set back in plastic bags (like big garbage bags). As long as they are sealed, they should be fine on the porch. Just stack them 2x2.

ive seen a leather sort of cover that goes over 4 tires in a stack. you could make it yourself out of bbq cover material if your good with a needle and thread, or if your mom gf or wife is.

You can buy vertical racks that stack the tires 4 high and have wheels like a fridge cart to move them around easy.

Hope this helps

As long as they are the heavy black plastic bags, which is what we have,
even though the tires are in the garage. If the tires are stored outside
on the balcony, it seems that the UV's would penetrate a clear bag as
though it were a window.

If they're bagged, toss them in the back of a closet if you have one ~
