10/11/05 Meeting Minutes

Meeting was called to order by Thomas.

We welcomed newcomers Mike and Lisa Richards. We welcomed back members who had been away for awhile.

Upstate Z Club T-shirts with pockets and UZC Hats will be available for purchase Saturday 10/15 at our Fall Drive and at future meetings and events.

Upstate Z Club Logos and Text Decals are available.

ZDriver.com Upstate Z Club Forum—Calendar Section-- Bryan Cook is the moderator. Please email event information to bryan.cook(a)charter.net to have it added to the Calendar.

Current active membership is 30 members. Let’s keep growing…

We would like to have a DYNO Day in the spring.

Reminder: Our club is not set up with a social committee. We rely on our members to plan events together. If you have an event in mind, mention it and get someone to help you plan it. Try to give as much advance notice as possible. This is your club…

ZDayz 2006—Fontana Village Resort, Fontana, NC. Plan early if you want to attend. Suggestion was made that the club could coordinate and members could rent houses near each other.

EVENTS:
Fall Drive: Saturday 10/15/05. Meet at Bojangles on Wade Hampton Blvd (HWY 29) in Greer, SC, 8:00 am. Bring your two-way radios so we can communicate during the drive. We will conclude at Brian Wilmot’s house for a hot-dog lunch.

Eurofest Car Show/Autocross at BMW: 10/14-10/16. Spotlight on Cars of Italy, but all European makes (new and old) present. Autocross open to all makes.

Georgia Z Club Car Show, Saturday, October 22. Sutherlin Nissan Mall. Georgiazclub.com for info. Call Thomas if you would like to join the caravan to this show.

Car Stereo Show: October 22, Sumter, SC.

Tentative date for our annual Christmas Party is Friday December 2, 7:00 pm. Location will be discussed at our November meeting. Good chance we will have it at the same place it has been the last two years.
