zdayz, stuff...

Again our little (in comparison to the others) club came home with more then our share of awards. Best of all was Brian Wilmont's win. All his hard work and attention to detail brought his Z all the way back and then some. Wonder if they ever decided if Thomas and his folks Z was stock/modified or modified/stock? Must be a first, a Z with a Chevy engine walking away with best dressed engine. We could have done even better if all our Zs would have made the show. Missing were Bill's Yellow Z (he's too busy repairing everybody elses car). Josh's mystery blue Z, hey if he couldn't get it ready nobody could. Thomas had a Z that just wouldn't cooperate engine wise. Walt left one fine Z at home and a new one in the parking lot. Even had some great Z's that their owners couldn't make zdayz. Hope they start planning for next years event. Oh yes, Chris was unable to bring his copycat Z. Sportsmanship Award goes to Brian Cook and Michael Sommers. Both in same class and parked together. Each was telling everyone to vote for the others car, that's class. Brian's trunk may have played some part in that... Not only did we do well trophy wise, one of our members walked off with the trophy girl. Also Mr Tolar now can be called Frogman. Want a great time and some great food next year? Hook up with Josh and his crew and end up in Robbinsville. Suggestion, do not sit near Mr Tolar unless you can catch flying butter. Also do not try to keep up with Chase.

Report!

Nice report, really nice...

For those who didn't catch the flying butter, here goes:

Never sit next to JOSH, he can get you into trouble, even when supervised by his better half. Here goes...I'll try to make this brief... I said try....

It was 2006, I'm sure. Josh, with back to pretty waitress, taking orders at adjacent table, he overhears: "Do you have any beef briskett?" and pretty waitress says "No!"

Josh exclaims: "There's No Biscuits! I really like Biscuits. I want some Biscuits!"

And the waitress replies from next table. "WE GOT BISCUITS! We don't have any BEEF BISCUITS!"

Josh: But I want a Biscuit!

When the Waitress finally gets to our table, trying to take frogman's breakfast order, Josh continues to express his disappointment about "No Biscuits?"

The waitress redirects to Josh: "The man said he wanted a Beef Biscuit, not a biscuit. As I said, "We got plain biscuits" after a brief pause. She adds: Actually, he asked for Beef Briskett."

As she scans the table full of hungry people staring back to her in disbelief, the waitress responds: "Whats a beef Briskett?

Well, Frogman lost it first. Instantanously, the entire table joins in uncontrollable laughter.... ending with Flying Butter!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

LOL I also want to point out I had absolutly nothing to do with the previous post, at least I don't remember having anything to do with a Briskit. Overall I believe all had a great time, this is truly a great event That they have put alot into. Job well done guys!
