30,000 Mile Service

Do you guys think I should spend the $200+ on the 30,000 mile service?? Or just do everything at a tech session? What would be the disadvantage of doing it all at a tech session, other than for warrenty issue. We should be able to handle everything that is suggested for the 30K service. Comments/Suggestions appriciated!

Plugs are a bit of a pain, but it's doable.

Yeah, I'd spend the $289. There was a coupon pack that was sent out by Nissan a few weeks ago. It had 15% off on parts/service. Total would be $245 + tax.

hold on.... on the z, all you need to do is change the oil and filter, change air filter, clean battery terminals, and other suggested items may include, tranny service, rear diff service, and coolant service. beyond that all you need to do to maintain the warranty would be change the oil every 3750 miles. spark plugs need to be changed at 105k, and rear diff make sure to use lsd gear oil, and the tranny fluid is expensive, but make sure you use the right stuff!!! no one can alter the timing on the stock computer, so checking it is poitless... a lot of the stuff on the list is just there for the old cars and for stupid people.
