4/14-4/17 NHRA Summit Racing.com Nationals

Who: NHRA
What: Professional Drag Racing
Where: The Strip @ LVMS
When: April 14th - 17th
Why: Top Fuel Dragsters that go 0-325mph in 4.35 seconds is reason enough for me.
How Much: General Admission Tickets are $110 for the event. I don't know how much they would be per day.

If you have never seen a Top Fuel Dragster run the 1/4 mile in person, this event is a MUST. I think it would be fun to go down there just on Saturday the 16th. Sunday is the eliminations, but you don't get to see all of the cars and it doesn't last as long as Sat. If a couple of us want to get together and go down for that event I am all for it, but I don't want to go by myself.

1. Mike (unless I am the only one)
2.
3.
4.

John Force and his crew were at my bar drinking yesterday.
I'm sure I'll see then again on Friday and Saturday.

I did not see her this time, but she has been with him in the past.
She is really a knock out.

OK, got 3 "staff" passes. Never tried to use one of these before, but I think that we're good to go.

If nobody else wants to go, I will take both extra ones for me and my girlfriend. If someone else wants them then I will buy two general admission tickets. So if we are staff...where do we sit? Good job by the way on getting the passes Ty. What time are we meeting?

Whenever you feel like it man, just let me know.

I imagine we'll have to sit wherever general admission is.

Lets meet up at Poppas at 10:30am. Not to eat though. My girlfriend doesn't want to go so we still have an extra ticket.

Well, I was out and about driving tonight.... I just so happend to be going up the 15 and wow... its already JAM PACKED!! There is traffic all the way up to the speedway starting at Lake Mead. And I drove up there around 11pm tonight. Its like a fricken parking lot up there. So my suggestion is to leave WAY early guys!

You're more than welcome to come if Mike's girl isn't coming man. See you at Poppa's at 10:30a. I think that it's going to be hot tomorrow, so bring sunscreen.

I didn't read this thread before I left for work this morning, otherwise I would've stopped by Poppas and said hi. I left my place at around 1015, arrived at the Speedway (cuz I cut through to go to A2), and man, there was a mad load of people there. It was nutty!
