I waxed the Z, with Mother's Carnuba Wax. Wow! What a great product!

Then I made my plastic light covers come alive with Mother's Plastic Polish!

Later tonight I'm going to polish my exhaust tips with Mother's Chrome Polish!

Thanks for the free stuff Mike. Hope this helps renew your sponsorship.

I'm a Zaino convert now. I'm riding around with the bottle of Z6, just like Sam!

Yeah that was Big Mike driving his car, I think he lost it almost 4 times during that run and you finished a second behind him. It was actually pretty crazy to watch from the grid.

I co-drove Mike's S2k since Spencer's STS car which I was originally set to drive broke. Lets just say with Mike's tires and spring setup it's not eactly the easiest nor the fastest thing to drive. In the morning we started the tire pressures high and the car was damn near undriveable, we finally start to drop pressures like crazy and it gave the car some grip back but not much and his softer spring setup didn't help.
I was able to crack into the 65s with it but of course I coned in that very long slalom Wish I would've brought my car out as it should be a couple of seconds faster than Big Mikeys. Lesson learned, even if your going to co-drive someone else's car it's still smart to bring your own car out!

Like Brian said those that missed out did so on a great long and fast course. Angled start, long off set gates, 8 cone evenly spaced slalom, and a very fun finish. It was a blast to drive! We got in 4 runs in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.

Brian you did very well for your first time! I feel bad that due to car setup issues I wasn't able to hop in with you to give you some pointers. Hopefully I'll be able to at a later event. Also your going to love bringing the Miata out! Marc Segal was in the low 60 somethings kicking all our ***** with his stock miata on race tires.

I'll see you guys at the event after next (taking my MSF course during the next event yipee!)
Karim

edit: I forgot to add I'm another Zaino junky. I have a lot of different stuff in my detailing cabinet (mothers, meguiars, 3m, etc) but at the end of the day Z2 still rocks everything else on durability!

While you guys were busy at the Auto-X, I was having fun doing laps next door on the Road Course. There was one 350 that showed up the first two days. I did tell him about our club, but I do not expect to see him joining us.

He was a guy about 70. Old racer from the 50's - 60's. I met him once before, about a year ago at another DE event. Kinda stuck up and full of himself. Not what I would call a 'fun guy' to be around. He is welcome at any of our events, as far as I am concerned. I did not get any positive vibes when I told him about our group. I don't think he saw any personal benefit from joining us.

His car was a stock '03 track model. He seemed to be an OK driver. I did like his license plate. "TRACK Z" From what he said, I don't think he drives it on the street much, if at all.
