Remember, dyno day is at 10AM on Sunday. I am going to get some breakfast at the Petro truck stop before I go over, so I plan on getting to the Petro about 9AM. The Petro is immediately to your right when you get off at the Speedway exit off of I-15. If you don't want to stop in for breakfast, meet us there at 9:45 and we can all head over together.
See ya on Sunday!

We have a potential problem. Somehow, the G and Z dyno day has leaked to the guys at the BWW meetings and they are assuming that it's open to the public. It's NOT. If you know anyone who is planning on just showing up, please let them know that the Gs and Zs that signed up get first crack at the dyno. Silver State is only expecting 10-12 cars to show up. Any more than that and they might get turned away because of time restrictions.

Hopefully some of you read this before tomorrow morning. I just found out that it is daylight savings time tonight and you are supposed to set your clocks forward an hour. So tomorrows meeting time of 9:00am would be 8:00am if you didn't change your clocks.

Well, after I went back and got the Chevelle dyno tuned, I picked up 15.47whp and 12.32 ft. lbs. which bumps it up to a still dissapointing 273.65whp and 297.93 ft. lbs. I could have had a better number, but I had him tune it for a steady torque/horsepower curve because that would be faster on the track. He also informed me that with my drivetrain set up I am probably losing 80-100 horsepower between the flywheel and the rear wheels. So 373.65 horsepower is more like what I was expecting at the flywheel. I just was unaware that there was that much power loss in the drivetrain in my car. Another thing I learned is that my open headers proved no horsepower or torque gain on the dyno, which was also upsetting. But that just means that I have a really free flowing exhaust. So now I think I am going to get a base number out at the speedway for my 1/4 mile now that its tuned before I gut it. The guy from Silver State also convinced me to put on a 100 shot of nitrous, so that should be coming soon as well.
