Body shop re-attack
Alright, I took my Z back to Winner's Circle to get the body kit repainted due to some bubbling and cracking. I also wanted to remove the front license plate mount and glass a few rock chips. Since this was warranty work, they took their sweet a$$ time and when I finally went to pick it up today...
The license plate was mounted which tells me they can't follow simple directions; there were runs galore in the clear coat which tells me they put forth minimal effort in the week it was there; and they put a nickle-size paint chip in the front passenger fender--and tried to cover it up with pure white touch-up (like I wouldn't notice) which makes me question the integrity of the shop. The owner, Dale, is a stand-up guy but seems to be in over his head and his new manager is a bit shady. When I get the Z back, I think I will submit a report to the BBB. --BEWARE-- pass it along.

Sam, why should I see Brian?
Mike, unfortunately I had already used WC before you got your kit. This work is under their warranty.

My rear bumper was worked on by them, and the clearcoat is cracking on the corner of the taillights. The paint that they put on is a shade darker than the rest of the car. At first I couldn't see it because the light was bright enough to blend everything in, but now, it's a little more obvious. Unfortunately for me, Europe doesn't have Pikes Peak White for their Z, so even if I find a Nissan dealership, they may not be able to match my color.
