Exclamation Deals on some meat for the Volks.

I am really in need of some tires for the Z. Since I bought the car used and it went into the body shop 5 days later due to a valet accident, I totally forgot about the rubber. Well now i go to get my oil changed and my guy that does my changes tells me my tires score a 0 . So does anybody have any hookups or know any good places to grab some tires.

245/35/19 Fronts
275/35/19 Rears

Thanks in advance.

Depends on what you want. Realistically you're looking at anywhere from $125 for cheap, crappy tires all the way to $320 for all out, Z Rated tires. I just bought a TOYO T1-R 245/35/19 and it was $212 (for the cheapest I could find). Falken has some cheaper tires with some decent treadwear and okay grip but I think you are still lookin at the $150-$180 price range/per tire and that's just the fronts; the rears are a whole new ball game. What wheel width you you have on the front and rear? Let me know what you're looking for in a brand and I'll see what I can find.

I was lookin at the T1-R's. I found the fronts for $204 and the rears for $239

Unhappy

Medically retired due to a medical injury. I get the retired ID and everything LOL. I really wish I could still be in.

That's probably about the cheapest you're going to find them. Mine was $212 shipped so it was the exact same price you got them for. I'm guessing you went to Onlinetires.com or somethin? The T1-Rs are nice, good treadwear, good grip but a little on the noisy side (not that our cars are exactly quiet anyway in the cabin). I would say to go with the 245/35s in the front and the 275/30 in the rear. If you got the extra change you could swing over to hopupracing.com and pick up some lowering springs. Most of us are running the Tanabe GF210 Lowering springs and they have them for $168. Lowers the front about an inch and the rear about 1.5 inches. You're looking at around $950 shipped for all four tires and about $1020 if you get the springs on top of that.

Well i picked up the fronts for the time being. I was ridin on the chords so I needed it really bad. I picked up the Nitto 555 series. They were pretty much the only tires i could find that had a matching set of 245/35/19 and 275/35/19. He says i can prolly go another 3-4 weeks on my one back tire, so I'm gonna need them comin up here really soon. Zrolimit... How much of a difference would there be between the 275/35 and the 275/30? Noticable or not?

Thanks for all the help

The change shouldn't be much but I think there was an issue with the TCS if you go to a higher profile tire in the rear. I'm not sure if there is a difference or not; just about a 5mm height raise at the tire.

Don't think I have TCS in my base. the 275/30 is more expensive than 35's. Got a guy out in cali lookin into the rear set of Nitto's for me. Hopefully he can get me for good price.
