I did remove the bumper to install the intake. Damn, I wasn't even thinking of that, I probably damaged it somehow. I don't get why it only started flashing now and not when I first installed it.

hmm. well it is pretty difficult to damage. Its basically a metal casing with a spring loaded ball bearing inside. What year is your Z? Does it have the feature where if there is not enough weight in the passenger seat it turns off that airbag?

i always order my Redline from summitracing.com - they're in Reno and deliver usually next day. most brands like RP and Redline aren't in stores, for some reason.

National Performance also sells every Redline product and they keep most of it in stock. I buy my oil and assembly lube there.

Speaking of NP, is this the place on Craig or CHeyenne that sells guages, vacuum hoses, and other assorted good tuner parts? I am going to replace all my vacuum hoses with blue ones and move my BOV to a different location.

National is on Charleston and Jones I believe. Right across from the CCSN campus.

Ok after reading over the posts again, Rob says that the plugs should last 100K. I'm sitting right now at 46K on the odometer. Should I save the extra 40-50 bucks on the plugs and just keep the ones I got, or get new ones as part of this little tune up? Should I change the wires?

I know I need to do the brakes, when I had my oil changed in may my mechanic said that the brakes were marginal and should be changed out soon. So heres my list

Hawk HPS - $66.90 Front / $62.33 Rear from Pep Boys (Only has the fronts, anybody know another place to pick these up locally?)

Motul MT600 Brake Fluid - $$$? Their website is really hard to use and I cant find a dealer locator. Who in town carries it if anybody? Any other good brands?

Royal Purple 75w90 - Looks to run around $10-$15/bottle. Mike, that would be great if I could grab a few bottles from ya. I would have to give ya somethin for it tho...$$$, Beer, sexy lap dance , or whatever you choose. I don't like takin peoples stuff for free

***I think there is something wrong with the syncros in my tranny. Shifting from 1 to 2, it feels like it gets caught on something. It is also really hard to shift from 5 to 6 sometimes. Some people said changin the fluid to RP or redline has helped reduce it. I was gonna take it to the dealership and have them see if they can take a look and do something under warranty. Should I change the fluid out so that they don't say that it was caused by not changing it out or having really dirty used fluid. Or take the time and just change it then take it in?***

NGK Plugs - $40-$50 for all 6. Should I get them, or let them go to 100K like Rob said earlier?

NGK Wires - $$$? Find em? Or let em go till 100K like plugs?

Anything else anybody can think of? Im thinkin I can get everything done for just under $250.

I think that I have a couple of bottles of Motul. I don't use it since I switched to the ATE superblue.

Cycle Gear had 7 bottles of Motul RBF 600 brake fluid on the shelf and I got four. If you need an additional bottle or two (b/c I think it takes four bottles to fill our system), they are located on Decatur just south of the Meadows Mall.

Should only take about a bottle and a half for the brakes.
