Extended warranty for tire problems

I got a letter from Nissan North America today. They have extended the warranty for all 2003 and 2004 350Z models to 36 months and unlimited mileage to cover the tire 'growl' and feathering problems. They are offering to provide proper allignment and / or replacement tires if you are experiencing front tire problems.

Is anyone actually running the stock tires anymore? Half of you are on your second set of aftermarket wheels already!

The original tires on my 350 are still doing fine. I have a whopping 3547 miles one them so far. I guess I need to track it more often to wear them down.

Now the tires on my Porsche are another story. The Toyo T1-S are feathering. They are fine for the street, but I am disappointed with their track preformance. The next set is going to be Kumho Victoracers or Toyo R1. I also want to see what Avon has to offer.

Hmmm... sounds like you're not doing what you're supposed to be doing with a Z...
